Today was another long day at court, serving as a juror on this criminal trial - I think it was our longest day thus far...it’s been 7 weeks already!
I’m starting to come down with a cold (stuffy ears, sore throat, fatigue...and just complete exhaustion - physical and mental), but after we left the courthouse tonight I drove over to Noe Valley to walk around, clear my head, and snap some photos - including this one of Victorians on Castro Street.
BTW - One of the benefits of serving on a jury is making new friendships with your fellow jurors. Thanks to my fellow (amazing) juror @waggy607 for looking at my various photos from tonight and helping me to decide which photo to share! 🙏🏽😁
Hope you all had an amazing day!
Is it the weekend yet? I want my dim sum fix. 🐽🐷 is it only me or do you guys always over order when it comes to dim sum?
I just want EVERYTHING 😍😍 what’s your fav dish? Mine is chicken feet!
Here’s a throwback to my US trip last month with my parents. These photos are from San Francisco when we attended The Ring Cycle which is a connected story of 4 operas on 4 different evenings spread over a week. It was a wonderful experience and we all love the excuse to get dressed up and experience beautiful music. At dinner after the last performance we started talking about where we should go for our next Ring Cycle which would be my third and their seventh! #wagner#ringcycle#sanfrancisco#worldtravel#opera#arbonnelife#buildyourdreams#success#blacktie#music#entrepreneurlife
“We Can Work It Out” by Stevie Wonder
I consider myself to be a knowledgable music fan. Music has been at the foundation of my life ever since I can remember and I've run the gamut of genres...from classic rock to blues to country to hair bands to heavy metal to EDM. So yesterday, when Stevie Wonder's rendition of The Beatles "We Can Work It Out" came on my Sirius radio, a version I had no idea existed, my mind was blown. I had a moment of embarrassment and excitement, feeling like a music newbie all over again.
I must think that if I haven't heard this, many of you haven't either. Or perhaps I'm truly the only one. In the case that I'm not a lonesome greenhorn, it's worth a share. Stevie Wonder is a legend. A few things you might not know about him: His real name is Stevland Hardaway Judkins. Yep, Stevland. He was born six weeks premature in Saginaw, Michigan. The stunted growth of blood vessels in the back of his eyes caused his retinas to detach as a baby, leading to permanent blindness. A 1973 car crash caused Stevland to permanently lose his sense of smell, and temporarily lose his sense of taste. Basically, he's a walking set of sensational ears.
His version of "We Can Work It Out" is all things right about music. The groove is high-energy and funky. It's superb lyrically. The background vox are on point. Stevie's delivery, at times slightly delayed, gives the version an even fresher spin. And the original itself is a true classic. Hard to get better than this.
There's nothing like hearing a classic for the first time.🌠

I just posted some pics from my #NorthernCalifornia#luxury#roadtrip in the #LexusRC F on my @eatwithfred food feed, and I wanted to post a few here..
I took the 2018 #Lexus RC F on an epic 1,500 Mile Road Trip starting in Laguna Beach in Southern California and going all the way up to #Sonoma and #SanFrancisco in Northern California. You can see videos from my road trip on my YouTube channel and read more about it at luxuryfred.com.
These pics show a few of my stops, the first one is the beautiful #FairmontSanFrancisco, then at Gloria Ferrer caves & #Vineyards where we went #winetasting in #Sonoma, and finally the #Fairmont Sonoma #MissionInn & #Spa where we stayed in #SonomaCounty. Then of course you can see me in action #wine tasting, as well as enjoying #breakfast on the Terrace of our Mission Suite at the Fairmont Sonoma.
The #LexusRCF was amazing on the trip, it's a comfortable luxury sports coupe when you have it in the Comfort driving mode, and it's pretty aggressive when you put it in the Sport + mode with a 467 #horsepower v8 engine and rear-wheel drive.
